Every morning our school says the Pledge of Allegiance together. The kindergartners have done a great job reciting that every day. I have added another step into our daily routine and that is to say the Manners Poem. I try and reinforce good manners at school and being kind to one another. We try and build problem solvers and an atmosphere of acceptance and forgiveness. Of course, if you have been in a kindergarten classroom we all know that these skills need to be reinforced daily because tattle telling is big at this age. (this one did this and that one did that....) Here is the poem we say, that the children love! I don't know who the author is, so if anyone knows, please let me know. Click here for your copy.
